There is a limit of one email address per account for all new accounts created going forward. Those with multiple accounts using a single email address on our old platform have been grandfathered.
Because search results are listed by distance in miles for all members, please be sure your city, state/province and ZIP/postal code information is accurate so other members can find you in their searches.
Set your time zone so all information is displayed in your local time.
Add security answers in case you need help resetting your password and lose access to your email address.

Q: What does the premium membership cost?
A: The current POZ Personals premium membership options are:

Q: What does 'recurring' mean?
A: Your POZ Personals premium membership will automatically renew for periods of the same duration as the originally selected term until such a time as you cancel the membership.
Q: How do I cancel my premium membership?
A: There are currently two options for canceling your premium membership. On the Personals Menu select Edit Premium Info and follow the directions. Or you can send an email to email@example.com with your POZ Personals username and a request to cancel your premium membership. Please note after you cancel, you'll enjoy membership benefits until the end of your then-current membership term; your membership won't be renewed after that term expires. However, you won't be eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the membership fees paid for the then-current membership period.
Username and password
Q: I forgot my username or password?
A: Please click here and type in either your username OR the email address you signed up with. We'll send you a reminder.
Q: How do I change my username?
A: Now you can change your username by choosing Manage Profile from your Personals Menu and choose "Account settings", then change your username and click "update".
Q: How do I change my password?
A: Log in to your account and choose Manage Profile from the Personals Menu in the top right corner of your screen, choose "Account settings" and change your password — then update your changes.
Q: What is my Profile Avatar?
A: Your profile avatar image appears in search results and is the primary image used on your profile.
Q: Why isn't my photo showing up in my profile?
A: Your photo must be less than 10MB in size and in the "JPG, PNG or GIF" format in order to upload onto POZ Personals. If you have all that right, click on Manage Profile on the right side of your screen, choose Photo and try again.
Q: How can I remove a photo from my profile?
A: Click on Manage Profile on the right side of your screen, choose Photos and remove the photo.
Q: What are private photos and how do they work?
A: Launched in August 2018, private photos allow you to post photos (including explicit images) and control user-by-user who can access the photos. You can also remove access at any time.
Q. How do I make sure nobody knows my email address?
A. The only way other members can find out your email address is if you choose to give it to them yourself.
Q. How does POZ Personals protect my privacy?
Q. How can I stop somebody from sending me POZ Personals messages and flirts?
A. If you want to stop receiving messages from another member but they keep sending them, click on "block this user" on one of their messages to you. This will also stop them from appearing in any of your search results.
Q. How do I report another member who is abusive or harassing?
A. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the member's username and a detailed description of your experience. We will investigate the issue and take appropriate action.
Q: What if I am offended by text or pictures in someone else's profile?
A: Please send a detailed description of the material you find offensive to email@example.com. Depending on the issue and how many members submit complaints, we may ask the member to change the content.
Avoid scammers and spammers
Q: How do I avoid getting duped by scammers?
A: Trust your instincts! If it doesn't seem right, it probably isn't. Any POZ Personals member who is asking you for money is either a scammer or is simply violating POZ Personals rules on soliciting. NEVER give out personal information such as Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, credit card account numbers, etc. Report all scammers to firstname.lastname@example.org. Make sure you include their username and any messages they sent to you. We need your help to catch them!
Q: What can I do to stop scammers and spammers from contacting me?
A: We are constantly adding behind the scenes scam and spam controls to help catch them before they start contacting members. For those we miss, we offer the following individual controls you can use to stop scams and spam.
In your Personals Menu, click on Manage Profile and choose "setting": "Require CAPTCHA for members sending me new messages." Choose "yes" then submit. Members trying to send you a message will have to first enter text for verification.
To block a specific member from sending you messages or flirts, click the "hide/ block" button found on any message or flirt you have received. This will also stop them from appearing in any of your search results.
To report a member sending inappropriate messages, please click the "report" button on any inappropriate message you have received. We will investigate and close the account promptly, if appropriate.
For Premium members only: In your Personals Menu click on Manage Profile and choose "Setting": "Accept communications ONLY from premium members." Choose "yes" then submit. Only premium members will be able to send you messages.
Q: I can't log in! I got a message saying: "I am sorry, we cannot find your info. Please contact us."
A: Make sure you've typed in your username and password correctly. If you are sure you have it right, email us at email@example.com and describe exactly what happened. Make sure to include your POZ Personals username.
Catch of the day
Q: What is Catch of the Day?
A: Catch of the Day is a great way to get a little extra attention! We select certain member photos to appear in prominent spots throughout the site. To be considered for Catch of the Day, you can indicate which of your photos you would like considered during the upload process or go to Manage Profile - Photos and submit your choice at any time. Note it is also easy to remove yourself from consideration, just visit Manage Profile - Photos and choose "Cancel Catch of the Day." Note only one photo can be submitted to Catch of the Day at a time.
Q: What's a Hotlist?
A: A Hotlist is a list of member profiles you happen to like and want to keep track of.
Q: How do I add someone to my Hotlist?
A: Click on the "Add To Hotlist" button on your search results or on the member's profile. The member will show up on your Hotlist.
What, no action?!
Q. Why is no one sending me messages or flirts?
A. Did you add a photo? Photos dramatically improve your chances of getting a response. Also, the more information you provide in your profile, the better. Try working on your profile a little—and sending out your own messages and flirts!
Closing your account
Q. How do I hide my POZ Personals account?
A. To temporarily "hide" your account so that nobody can find your profile, please click on the Manage Profile button on your Personals Menu and choose "Setting": "Hide my account". Choose "yes" next to that question and submit. Click "no" to unhide your account.
Q. How do I cancel my POZ Personals account?
A. To permanently cancel your account, please click on the Manage Profile button in the Personals Menu and choose "Setting": "Cancel account: CAREFUL! Choosing yes here will permanently CANCEL your account". Choose "yes" next to that question and submit. Note this can't be undone. If you have a question about canceling your account, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Make sure to include your POZ Personal's username.
